My Story

Television Production

I started my career as an Office Production Assistant on Disney shows "Pair of Kings" and "Dog with a Blog," and the Nick pilot, "Instant Mom." I learned how professional productions operate and built lasting friendships with the crews.

Talent Management

Serving as an executive assistant, I managed a roster of top YouTube stars, including the first ever to hit a million subscribers, Lucas Cruikshank. In that role, I experienced brand partnerships from their point of view. This perspective stuck with me as I eventually shifted towards sales & brand partnerships.

Creative Strategy

Informed by brand objectives, I developed comprehensive content strategies for clients that wanted to build a presence on YouTube and collaborate with influencers. I also ideated and sold creative campaigns, and assisted with a proprietary research project.

I worked with a team to develop proposals in response to briefs from both existing and potential brand partners. I generated creative influencer integration solutions for a variety of online platforms.

I learned what it was like to be on the receiving end of inquiries and proposals from content and influencer companies. It became clear that I was uniquely positioned to help set brand marketers up for success in this young industry.

As an independent consultant, I've guided over 30 brand teams through strategic development, casting, campaign management, and optimization of creator-led programs. Past clients include LiveNation, Hormel Foods, Google and SpotOn GPS Dog Fence.

Business Manager

After fortuitously meeting the visionary and force that is Emily Petterson in a Facebook group, I began consulting on brand partnerships for the fast-growing channel Dad Advice From Bo. I support Emily and Bo in managing a wide range of business opportunities and developing sponsored content.

OFFSCREEN RESOURCES

Professional Placements

In 2020, I started a community of influencer marketing freelancers in the industry called "We Are Boosters," creating opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and lead generation. As the community grew, it evolved into a centralized hub for brands and agencies to hire freelancers for influencer strategy, casting, and campaign management. In 2024, I expanded the business to include full time placements in addition to freelance, and renamed the business Offscreen Resources.

WORK FRIENDS

Community

In tandem with the Offscreen Resources rebrand, I launched Work Friends as it's own entity: a social club for creator economy professionals. We host curated in-person events and offer a Discord channel for peers to chat.
